Malaysian Thinker Stresses Introducing Quranic Teachings to World

IQNA – A Malaysian thinker underlined the need for introducing the truths of the Quran to the world.

Addressing an international Quranic conference in Tehran on Saturday, Maszlee bin Malik, who is also the chairman of the International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies in Malaysia, said the Islamophobia that can be witnessed in the world today “doubles our responsibility to the Holy Quran.

He called for promotion of Quran memorization and recitation, Quranic arts and the ethical and scientific achievements made in the Quranic fields.

The latest technologies, including the Internet and the AI, should be used for this purpose, he stated.  

Reiterating the need to protect the Holy Book, he said those who spread the teachings of the Quran, including memorizers, reciters, and interpreters are all treading the path of protecting the Quran.

Bin Malik added that the international conference can also be part of the efforts in that direction.  

He further described the Quran as a means to enhance unity in the Muslim Ummah strengthen the power of the Ummah.

He said despite the political and religious differences, there are no differences among Muslims about the Noble Quran.

He also referred to the International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies in Malaysia and said it has sought to boost relations among Muslims countries and work on developing the Islamic culture as well as peace and security in the world.

Titled Risalat Allah (Messages of Allah), the conference was held by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) at the University of Tehran’s Faculty of Theology on Saturday, January 6.

It was aimed at developing and enhancing Quranic diplomacy.

Muslim elites, thinkers and scholars and representatives of Quranic centers from a number of countries, including Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq, Russia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Senegal, Thailand, India, and Pakistan took part in the conference.
